Get a Head Start on the Season: February & March 3-Event Water Ski Training
Most skiers wait for summer to get serious. The ones who show up to tournament season sharp, confident and ready to post personal bests are usually the ones who started early. This February and March, Active Skiing is running focused 3-event training in slalom, tricks and jump, all coached by Thomas Asher.
Why train in February and March?
The early-season months are the best time to work on technique. There’s less pressure and you have time to fix the habits that crept in last year. You can build solid fundamentals before the competition calendar fills up. A few weeks of good coaching now makes the whole season smoother.
Slalom
We’ll work on body position, edge change and the timing of your turns so you can run more buoys at faster speeds and shorter lines. Whether you’re getting comfortable in the course or pushing deeper into the rope, every set has a clear goal.
Tricks
Tricks rewards control and consistency. We will help you tidy up your current run, add new tricks safely and put together a pass that scores well. That goes from surface turns all the way up to wake flips.
Jump
For skiers ready to get airborne, jump training covers approach, cut timing and a safe, stable spring off the ramp. We build distance step by step, with safety first and confidence close behind.
Who it’s for
All levels are welcome. That includes newer skiers trying a new event and experienced tournament skiers chasing their best season yet. Sessions are tailored to where you are and where you want to go.
